The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced the UPSSSC Junior Assistant (5370 Post) Typing Test 2025. UPSSSC Junior Assistant typing test marks the second phase of recruitment for Advertisement No. 08/Pariksha/2023 (कनिष्ठ सहायक, कनिष्ठ लिपिक, सहायक स्तर-3).

According to the official UPSSSC notice dated 09 October 2025, the Typing Test will be held on 23 November 2025.
🖋️ UPSSSC Typing Test Pattern
The UPSSSC Typing Test will be held separately for Hindi and English languages. Each typing session will last 5 minutes, and candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying speed to pass.
1️⃣ English Typing Tests
- ⏱️ Time Duration: 5 Minutes
- ⚡ Qualifying Speed: 30 WPM
- ⌨️ Keyboard Layout: Standard QWERTY
- 📝 Font: Standard English Font
- ⏱️ Time Duration: 5 Minutes
- ⚡ Qualifying Speed: 25 WPM
- 📄 Fonts: Mangal or Krutidev 010
- ⌨️ Keyboard Layout:
- Inscript for Mangal Font
- Remington (Typewriter) for Krutidev Font
2️⃣ Hindi Typing Tests
💡 Typing Speed Calculation Formula
Each 5 keystrokes count as 1 word. Up to 5 errors are allowed. For every extra error after 5, there’s a 5-word penalty.
Total Keystrokes = 900 → Words = 900 ÷ 5 = 180
Full Mistakes = 6, Half Mistakes = 4 → Total Errors = 8
Admissible Errors = 5 → Penalty = (8−5)×5 = 15
Net Correct Words = 180 − 15 = 165
Final Speed = 165 ÷ 5 = 33 WPM (Qualified ✅)
